I wish! I’m not available until August, so I’m kind of hoping for the October date Kenya usually has (at least according to PC Wiki). Not going to happen, but a girl can dream…
Oh, and I almost totally forgot to ask you. I heard from my PO and they want proof of my degree, I know that you are in a similar boat and still in class and are probably not going to graduate until May. What did your PO say about informing them about your degree/final transcript since you got invited?
I’m really excited and hopeful for you! I hope that you’re able to accept your invitation without having to worry about your family. I hope everything works out and that we hear about a clean bill of health soon!
Congratulations!!!! This is amazing! I hope everything works out for you and your family! I know this is your dream so cheers to your accomplishment!!!!!!!! woo hoo
So I have officially started checking your blog to see if you accepted the invite more frequently than I check my email to see if I have heard anything from my PO…I hope you heard some good news today
Hello! I'm Kortni. I'm 21 and a soon to be college graduate. May 2011!
I've been invited to serve in Kenya under Public Health as an HIV/AIDS and Hygiene Educator. The staging date is scheduled for May 30th, 2011, and I won't be set to return until after July 19th, 2013.

I’ll admit it, I totally threw my hands up and said “YES!” out loud when you said Kenya. I am so stoked for you and hope it all goes well
PS: I am tearing up for you! It is so awesome that you got exactly where you wanted to go!
Thank you so much! I really hope everything works out.
I totally shouted when you said Kenya, dead serious. That’s where I want to go, too! (except I’m nominated for C/S America… hmm).
I think it’s definitely a good sign!
Haha. Maybe you can convince them you are more fit for a country in Africa, that has staging on maybe….May 30th.
