MCAT
So I went hunting for all the International MCAT dates for 2011. I don’t plan on taking MCAT until 2012, but this is just a reference. I went onto kayak.com to look at plane tickets. South Africa averages about $600 dollars from Ghana or Kenya. If I wanted to travel and site-see, which is much more appealing if I’m going to spend money on a plane ticket, I’d plan to take the test in the country, then spend the rest of the week being a tourist.
If I went to Kenya, my options would be South Africa, India (so cool!), Qatar, and Lebanon. If I was Ghana, it would be South Africa, France, and the UK. I’ve never been to Europe, so that would be cool. India sounds amazing. I hear plane ticket prices are ridiculous, and Kenya’s pretty close by. Basically, it depends on how much money I save up and where my post will be. IDK. It would be cool if I find a PCV to travel with me.
Another option is to take MCAT when I come back, but that’s just so boring.

I would totally go
Remember when you’re picking a date (though you said you were waiting till 2012, so this may not apply) that during training and the 1st three months you’re not supposed to take trips. I’m so happy you’ve decided to keep going with PC, and that you’ll be able to do everything you need to get into med school, too 
Yeah, I heard training’s pretty intense, so I doubt I’d have much time for anything else. & Thanks, I think it’ll all work out.
