Sunday
Hello everyone!
I’m back from a 2.5 week hiatus. I kind of left the subject of whether or not I’m going to continue on applying the Peace Corps up in the air. Well, I am. Not much has happened since my last post, but I’ll tell you what I’ve been doing anyways. I visited my advisor and he told me it wouldn’t hurt my application process, just my academic edge, as I won’t be studying for 2 years like I was in college. He told me to take some classes after coming back. I thought about it, and I don’t really want to. We’ll see…
I just started taking these classes. A lovely PC applicant from newsbooking.com linked me to it. Since a lot of my HIV experience has been falling through, I at least have something that I’ve been working on.
I honestly feel out of touch with PCJ world. The only thing I check everyday is dates. April 4th is that latest one so far. I feel like I have a lot of catching up to do. Well, I hope everyone’s application process is going smoothly! I haven’t heard from placement yet. I’ll give it until January to start asking. The countdown in my agenda says approximately 6.5 months left!
In regards to life, I’ve been sick for over a week. Not really all that fun. School is still kicking my butt. I don’t know if I can pull all As this semester. Um…I’m for sure going to Columbia with my organization to help out for a week. Also, I got a friend of mine to fall in love with Andrew Bird, and he’s working on playing this song on his piano. It’s pretty good so far.
Also, I’m going mountain biking in Ocala later on this month. In addition, I cannot properly pronounce Ocala without correcting myself at least twice.

thank you so much for including the link to those courses! I can’t wait to get started on them!
No problem!
I’m glad you got to hear another perspective from someone who is in the know
also, how do pronounce Ocala? and last, you know we don’t have actual mountains in Florida, right? It’s pretty flat here
I say “Oh-call-ah” rather than “Oh-cal(like California)-ah”.
Yes, when I moved here, I was so bummed that Florida had no mountains. Anywho, I’m going to be biking on a mountain bike on trails in Ocala.
